Audi Lineups Confirmed in 130-Car N24 Entry

Ricardo Feller will be pulling double duty at the upcoming Nürburgring 24 as part of Scherer Sport PHX’s two-car Audi lineup for the Eifel endurance classic.

Confirmed as part of a 130-car entry list issued for the event on Monday, the Swiss driver will be piloting both the No. 15 and No. 16 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs as part of a star-studded lineup featuring five former N24 winners.

The Meuspath-based squad had revealed its seven-man squad back in March, but had yet to reveal the exact composition of its lineup.

Feller will share driving duties of the No. 15 car with Fred Vervisch, Christopher Haase and Markus Winkelhock.

The No. 16 car, meanwhile, will be piloted by Feller, Christopher Mies, Frank Stippler and Dennis Marschall.

In total, 25 GT3 cars form part of the headline SP9 class, with Audi joined by Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and Lamborghini.

15 cars, entered by BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche, are eligible to score points for the Intercontinental GT Challenge manufacturers’ standings.

Most of the major lineups in the class were previously confirmed by their respective manufacturers, with ROWE Racing naming its two-car lineup on Monday.

The Munich manufacturer is joined in the class by BMW M Team RMG as its presence in the SP9 class notably shrinks from six cars to three after longtime customer squad Walkenhorst Motorsport switched to Aston Martin over the winter.

Porsche, which was previously known to be represented by Manthey EMA, Herberth Motorsport, Lionspeed GP and Falken Motorsports, has gained an additional entry through Italian stable Dinamic GT.

The team’s No. 54 Porsche will be piloted by Marco Holzer, Marco Seefried, Bastian Buus and Marvin Dienst.

Mercedes-AMG’s effort to secure a first N24 win since 2016 will be spearheaded by a four-car Pro effort from GetSpeed Performance and Haupt Racing Team.

Aston Martin is represented by four cars in the top class as it seeks for a first overall win at the event, with Walkenhorst Motorsport fielding a factory-backed Vantage GT3 Evo headlined by David Pittard and Nicki Thiim.

Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS race winner Chandler Hull will notably be making his race debut in the team’s second of three cars.

A fourth, non-Evo Vantage GT3 is fielded by PROsport Racing and driven by Marek Boeckmann, Nico Bastian and Hugo Sasse.

Finally, Lamborghini’s two-car contingent will see Red Bull Team ABT joined by event stalwarts Konrad Motorsport.

The Franz Konrad-led team fields its Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo for Danny Soufi, Torsten Kratz and DTM race winner Maximilian Paul.

Two cars have been entered in the SP-X class, which notably features the return of Glickenhaus Racing after a one-year absence.

The American squad’s No. 706 SCG 004C will be piloted by Thomas Mutsch, Franck Mailleux, Lance David Arnold and Come Ledogar.

The only other car in the class is a Hankook Competition-entered Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.
