DragonSpeed will make its IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD Pro class debut in next weekend’s season-ending Motul Petit Le Mans following an overhaul to its driver lineup for the ten-hour enduro at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
Announced on Wednesday, the Elton Julian-led team will field its No. 56 Ferrari 296 GT3 for the returning Toni Vilander, plus fellow Ferrari-affiliated drivers Thomas Neubauer and Vincent Abril.
Neubauer and Abril replace Rasmus Lindh and Henrik Hedman in the lineup that debuted as a GTD entry in last month’s Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
DragonSpeed, meanwhile, has received a GTD entry confirmation for next year’s championship.
