Gordon Scully will take part in a full season effort in Czabok-Simpson Motorsport’s No. 67 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge competition next year.

The Indianapolis-based team announced on Thursday its first driver for the 2025 season, with the 24-year-old Chicago native stepping up following a partial season campaign last year.

A graduate of the Lucas Oil School of Racing and the Formula Race Promotions F1600 programs, Scully competed in the 2023 USF2000 championship before joining the Matthias Czabok and Stephen Simpson-owned operation for five Pilot Challenge races last year.

“I’m super happy to be able to remain with CSM in 2025 and sign for a full season in the Michelin Pilot Challenge championship,” said Scully.

“Getting a first taste of IMSA sports car racing this season with the five races we did just confirmed to me I was in the right place.

“The team have made the transition so easy for me and we are all hungry for success. I don’t think people realize just how competitive the Michelin Pilot Challenge championship is which obviously makes it even more fun to compete there.

“We were right in contention on a number of occasions in 2024 and I think we showed a lot of potential in running upfront in several races, so for sure we will have a lot of momentum for the 2025 season.”

Simpson added: “Gordon was very competitive in the races he did with us in our maiden 2024 season in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge championship, especially considering that a lot of the tracks were new for him and this was the first time he drove a GT style race car. So we are really looking forward to have him back with us in 2025.”

Scully’s co-driver, along with additional championship plans for the team will be announced in the coming weeks.
