The final entry list for this weekend’s Lenovo Gulf 12 Hours has been released, featuring six GT3 manufacturers and totaling 24 cars, including four in the GT Cup class.

The 13th edition of the event at Yas Marina Circuit, which reverts to a Pro-Am-focused enduro following two years of serving as the final round of SRO’s Intercontinental GT Challenge, also returns to a two-part format with an opening eight-hour stint followed by a two-hour break and four-hour sprint to the checkered flag.

Former race winners Kessel Racing, AF Corse and 2 Seas Motorsport, who between them have won nine of the editions, headline the entry list.

Two-time Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS champion Jules Gounon will lead the Pro class challenge for 2 Seas, in a Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo alongside Australian duo Stephen and Brenton Grove.

Other contenders include Optimum Motorsport’s McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, Sainteloc Racing’s Audi R8 GT3 LMS Evo II, newcomer Proton Huber Competition’s Porsche 991 GT3 R and a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3s entered by Kessel and Dragon Racing.

A competitive Pro-Am grid sees nine cars from four different manufacturers face off for honors.

Ferraris GT3 make up the majority of competitors, with entries from AF Corse, Dragon, Kessel, Racing One and Rinaldi Racing, while Garage 59 competes with a pair of McLaren 720S GT3 Evo cars. An Audi is entered by Sainteloc and Lionspeed GP will have a Porsche.

In the Am class, an all-family crew of Thomas, Manuela, Corinna and David Gostner will challenge for the podium in their MP Racing-run Mercedes AMG against Audi entries from Haas RT and Simpson Motorsport, as well as Herberth Motorsport’s Porsche and a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo from ARC Bratislava.

For the first time, a dedicated Porsche Cup class adds another level of competition, with four Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars entered.

Two cars from HRT Performance will do battle with Toro Verde GT and Enrico Fulgenzni’s entry for class victory.

Track action kicks off on Friday evening with a 30-minute ‘shakedown’ session followed by three Free Practice sessions and qualifying on Saturday.

The race gets underway Sunday at 9 a.m. local time (12 a.m. EST) with live coverage on the Gulf 12 Hours YouTube channel.
