IMSA has revealed an updated entry list for this month’s WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, featuring a number of driver confirmations across all four categories.
GTP sees several final driver confirmations, with Tristan Vautier and Nico Pino joining Neel Jani in Proton Competition’s Porsche 963. A fourth driver remains to-be-confirmed in the No. 5 entry.
LMP2 sees the recently confirmed lineups from United Autosports, along with Dylan Murry confirmed as the final driver in Pecom Racing’s Oreca 07 Gibson.
Jules Gounon has been confirmed as the fourth and final driver in 75 Express’ Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo in GTD Pro, along with the newly announced Vasser Sullivan lineups across both GTD Pro and GTD.
Van der Steur Racing’s Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo has firmed up its four-driver lineup, as previously announced, while Eddie Cheever III has been added to Triarsi Competizione’s No. 023 Ferrari 296 GT3 in the place of Riccardo Agostini, who moves to the No. 50 AF Corse lineup that will feature Arthur Leclerc and Conrad Laursen with Custodio Toledo.
Aston Martin factory ace Nicki Thiim rejoins Magnus Racing for its final scheduled race, while Till Bechtolsheimer is confirmed in Gradient Racing’s Ford Mustang GT3 alongside Joey Hand, Tati Calderon and Harry Tincknell, the latter who is not listed on the entry but confirmed via a team representative to Sportscar365.
David Fumanelli will be the fourth driver in Inception Racing’s Ferrari, while Dan Knox will be joined by Scott Andrews, Eric Filgueiras and Mercedes-AMG factory driver Ralf Aron in the No. 80 Lone Star Racing entry.
Drivers for both of Paul Miller Racing’s BMW M4 GT3 EVO GTD Pro entries have yet to be announced as the only notable absences from the latest list.
