Falken Motorsports scored a 1-2 result in last weekend’s KW 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal NLS round, which was shortened to four-and-a-half hours due to fog.

Klaus Bachler and Sven Mueller claimed overall victory in the No. 3 Porsche 911 GT3 R, ahead of teammates Dennis Marschall and Nico Menzel, which finished 5.127 seconds behind.

It marked Falken’s third victory in NLS competition this year and came in Bachler’s first start of NLS season.

The Ford Mustang GT3, meanwhile, claimed its first-ever overall podium finish on the Nordschleife, with the No. 6 Haupt Racing Team entry of Vincent Kolb, Frank Stippler and Patrick Assenheimer finishing third after briefly leading through a stage of the enduro.

While Menzel started from pole in a shortened qualifying session, the No. 3 Porsche took the lead from its sister car on Lap 17, in the third hour, with a pass on the Döttinger Höhe.

Next up for NLS will be its first doubleheader of the season, with a pair of four-hour races scheduled for Sept. 13-14.
