Pierre Kaffer and Giancarlo Fisichella will return to the wheel of Risi Competizione’s Ferrari F458 Italia in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, it was confirmed Thursday.

Additionally, the Houston-based Ferrari squad confirmed Ferrari factory driver Davide Rigon and Oliver Beretta will complete the lineup for the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, as the team seeks top honors in the GT Le Mans class.

“Although we did not have the success or luck we had hoped last year, the pairing of Pierre Kaffer and Giancarlo Fisichella was a good match for our team,” said team owner Giuseppe Risi.

“We wanted them back this season as we make another attempt at the GTLM championship.”

The pairing scored class wins at Road America and VIR last year, as well as a podium finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, following a disastrous start to the season marred by heavy accidents.

“The team is working hard to bring the best car to the competitive battle in GTLM,” Risi added. “We’ve had great successes with Ferrari over the years and would like to extend that streak in 2015.”

Kaffer and Rigon will handle the driving duties for this week’s Roar Before the 24, kicking off Risi’s 18th year of sports car racing in the U.S.
