Belgian Audi Club Team WRT is set to have another busy year ahead in the Blancpain GT Series, with the team closing in on an expected four-car entry in the Blancpain Sprint Series and three Audi R8 LMS ultras for the Blancpain Endurance Series. (En Français)

The squad, led by Vincent Vosse, Yves Weerts and Rene Verbist enjoyed a successful 2014 season, with victory in the Total 24 Hours of Spa as well as the Blancpain GT Series title.

A return to a four-car squad for Spa is also possible, according to Vosse, who is aiming for expansion within the SRO championships in the final year for the current generation of Audi’s mid-engined sports car.

“If we aim to play a leading role in the Blancpain Endurance Series, we also want to win in another class besides the Pro-Cup,” Vosse told Endurance-Info.

“That’s why Belgian Audi Club Team WRT is trying to mount a crew for the Pro-Am Cup or Gentlemen Trophy.”

While James Nash has been confirmed to continue with the team in Blancpain Sprint, the remainder of the lineup has yet to be revealed.

However, it’s understood that 2014 Blancpain Endurance champion Laurens Vanthoor will also return, although the status of new Audi LMP1 factory driver Rene Rast remains unclear.

In parallel, the team will also be at the Nürburgring 24, while a presence in the Sepang 12 Hours, an event the SRO has taken over promotion of, has also not been ruled out.
