Manor WEC has taken delivery of its second Oreca 05 Nissan ahead next month’s FIA World Endurance Championship Six Hours of Silverstone.

The British squad, led by John Booth and Graeme Lowdon, took part in last weekend’s Prologue test at Paul Ricard with a single Oreca-Nissan with Will Stevens, Tor Graves, Matt Rao and James Jakes sharing driving duties.

Its second car, which had been KCMG’s spare chassis, was assembled at ORECA’s factory adjacent to the circuit over the weekend and was delivered to the team late Saturday.

A shakedown in the UK is planned prior to the WEC season-opener on April 17.

Manor’s second LMP2 entry is confirmed for eight of the nine WEC rounds, as the expanded program only materialized following the confirmation of entries for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Lowdown told Sportscar365 there hasn’t been any discussions on the possibility of the team taking over KCMG’s confirmed automatic LMP2 entry for the race.

The final driver in the No. 45 entry, alongside Rao and Richard Bradley, is expected to be announced this week.

The team, meanwhile, will be moving into a new workshop at the Silverstone Innovation Centre on Tuesday.
