Tom Dyer will complete HART’s lineup for next month’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the team has confirmed.
Dyer is set to join Chad Gilsinger and Ryan Eversley at the wheel of its Acura NSX GT3 for the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.
The Silver-rated driver has past experience with the Acura GT3 contender, having been part of Michael Shank Racing’s lineup in the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup races last year.
The all-volunteer HART crew made its series debut in January’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, finishing 16th in class with Eversley, Dyer and reigning European Le Mans Series LMP3 champions Sean Rayhall and John Falb.
It has confirmed a Patron Endurance Cup program this year, as well as a likely outing at its home race at Mid-Ohio in May.
HART is currently not entered for next week’s official Sebring test, which is optional for WeatherTech Championship teams.
