Raffaele Marciello led the way in the second practice session for Pirelli World Challenge GT competitors at Lime Rock Park, ahead of Monday’s pair of SprintX races.
The Italian driver, in his PWC debut, reeled off a quick lap of 51.794 seconds in the No. 2 CRP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 to go quickest in the 45-minute session.
Marciello edged out fellow Blancpain GT Series regular Andy Soucek by 0.186 seconds, with the No. 61 R. Ferri Motorsport Ferrari 488 GT3 of Miguel Molina and Toni Vilander third quickest.
The No. 3 K-PAX Racing Bentley Continental GT3 and No. 96 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R completed the top-five.
Maxime Soulet and Rodrigo Baptista led the way in the Pro-Am class with their fourth quickest time overall, ahead of the No. 19 TruSpeed Autosport Audi R8 LMS of Ryan Dalziel, who topped the overall time sheets early on.
Dalziel settled for sixth quickest overall in the session.
Qualifying is set to get underway at 3:05 p.m. EDT.
