Trent Hindman will make his second Blancpain GT World Challenge America start of the season, subbing for Marc Miller in Gradient Racing’s Acura NSX GT3 Evo this weekend at Road America.
The current IMSA GT Daytona points leader, who will also be seeking a championship in Pirelli GT4 America East competition this weekend, is set to share the GT3 Pro-Am class No. 6 Acura with full-season driver Till Bechtolsheimer.
Miller is again unavailable this weekend due to his Trans-Am by Pirelli commitments at Virginia International Raceway.
Hindman is no stranger to the Acura, as the 23-year-old currently leads the IMSA GT Daytona championship in Meyer Shank Racing’s NSX GT3 Evo alongside Mario Farnbacher.
The pairing came short of clinching the GTD title last weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca but need to only start next month’s Motul Petit Le Mans to be crowned IMSA champions.
A total of 16 GT3 cars are set for this weekend’s penultimate round of the GT World Challenge America season.
