SRO Motorsports America has launched a winter series for GT2, GT3, GT4, TCR, TC and TCA machinery that’s set to be contested over three weekends at The Thermal Club.

Kicking off on Dec. 13-15, with additional events on Jan. 17-19 and Feb. 7-9, the SRO America Winter Invitational is exclusively reserved for Bronze-rated or Bronze level drivers in a series of single-driver sprint races.

Each weekend will include two 40-minute races, along with three 30-minute practice sessions and two 20-minute qualifying sessions.

While being held at the same track, three different configurations of the California circuit will be utilized, including a four-mile layout for the season finale in February.

The new series, as revealed by Sportscar365 last weekend, was formally confirmed by SRO Motorsports Group founder and CEO Stephane Ratel during the worldwide SRO Awards night in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Information was communicated to teams on Thursday evening.

SRO Invitational Series Schedule:
Dec. 13-15 – Thermal Club (2.5 mile configuration)
Jan. 17-19 – Thermal Club (3.1 mile configuration)
Feb. 7-9 – Thermal Club (4-mile configuration)
