OAK Racing Team Total picked up where it last left off in the Asian Le Mans Series, as the French squad went quickest in Friday’s first practice session at Inje.

The No. 1 Morgan-Judd of Ho-Pin Tung topped the time charts in the opening 60-minute session, turning a best lap of 1:25.415 in preparation for Sunday’s season-opening Three Hours of Inje.

The No. 77 Craft-Bamboo Racing Ligier JS 53 Evo was quickest in CN with a 1:30.111 lap time. Frank Yu is sharing controls of the car this weekend with Mathias Beche and Kevin Tse.

GT, meanwhile, was led by the No. 91 Team AAI BMW Z4 GT3 of JunSan Chen, Tatsuya Tanigawa and Ollie Millroy, which set a quick lap of 1:33.513.

The Taiwanese squad swept the top three positions in the production-based class, which features entirely FIA GT3 machinery this weekend.

All eight cars recorded times, with no major incidents reported.
