OAK Racing Team Total continued to lead the way in Korea, following an incident-filled third practice for tomorrow’s Asian Le Mans Series season-opening Three Hours of Inje.

Ho-Pin Tung stormed to the top of the time charts in the extended 40-minute session, reeling off a 1:25.592 in his No. 1 Morgan-Judd.

Tung’s time was 0.351 seconds quicker than the improving No. 27 Eurasia Oreca 03 Nissan of Richard Bradley, who turned a 1:25.943.

While Craft-Bamboo Racing and Team AAI paced the CN and GT classes, respectively, two other cars suffered separate accidents.

The No. 7 Python Ferrari 458 Italia of Zou Si Rui backed into a wall, while there were similar misfortunes for the No. 45 ATL Wolf Asia Wolf GB08 of Gilbert Ang, which lost control in Turn 2 and also made contact with the barriers.

It resulted in a red flag. Officials extended the session by 10 minutes as a result.

It’s unclear if both cars will be ready for qualifying later this afternoon, or tomorrow’s three-hour race.
