A total of 20 cars are set for next weekend’s Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway.
The second and final GT-only round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season will feature five GTD Pro entries and 15 GTD cars for the two-hour and 40-minute race.
There are no changes to the entry list since the last WeatherTech Championship round at Road America, other than the expected return of Andretti Autosport’s Aston Martin Vantage GT3, which missed the Wisconsin event.
Jarett Andretti and Gabby Chaves last took part in the FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park, where their car was eliminated from action due to an accident involving Alan Metni’s Kellymoss by Riley Porsche 911 GT3 R.
A total of three WeatherTech Championship rounds remain for the production-based classes, including the Aug. 27 race.
