Porsche showed the way in the GT Le Mans category courtesy of a strong lap by Earl Bamber in the No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR. Antonio Garcia and Jesse Krohn were second and third for Corvette Racing and BMW Team RLL, respectively.

Practice 3 was the first session that all eight GTLM runners set lap times quicker than the fastest drivers in GT Daytona.

The GTD points leading Paul Miller Racing operation was fastest in class with Madison Snow turning in the fastest lap of the session in the No. 48 Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

The 3GT Racing operation completed the top three with Kyle Marcelli just 0.017 seconds behind Snow’s time in the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3, followed by Jack Hawksworth in the No. 15 Lexus.
