Speeds were up across the board from Friday with cool, dry conditions prevailing after a day of on-and-off rain in the Lexington, Ohio area.

Cameron beat his teammate Helio Castroneves in the sister No. 7 Acura by 0.088 seconds to take the top spot with a fast lap time of 1:12.675.

Jonathan Bomarito turned in the third fastest lap time of the session for Mazda Team Joest, but his best effort in the No. 55 Mazda RT24-P was over a second slower than Cameron’s benchmark lap.

Colin Braun was the quickest of the non-DPi drivers, placing his Oreca 07 Gibson in fourth overall for CORE autosport. Oliver Jarvis completed the top-five in the No. 77 Mazda.

Porsche showed the way in the GT Le Mans category courtesy of a strong lap by Earl Bamber in the No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR. Antonio Garcia and Jesse Krohn were second and third for Corvette Racing and BMW Team RLL, respectively.

Practice 3 was the first session that all eight GTLM runners set lap times quicker than the fastest drivers in GT Daytona.

The GTD points leading Paul Miller Racing operation was fastest in class with Madison Snow turning in the fastest lap of the session in the No. 48 Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

The 3GT Racing operation completed the top three with Kyle Marcelli just 0.017 seconds behind Snow’s time in the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3, followed by Jack Hawksworth in the No. 15 Lexus.
