Glenn van Berlo Joins Andretti Autosport for Remaining Enduros

Glenn van Berlo has joined Andretti Autosport’s LMP3 operation for the three remaining IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup races, replacing Dakota Dickerson in the lineup beginning with next weekend’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

The 21-year-old Dutchman, the younger brother of Porsche North America Selected Driver Kay, will team up with Gabby Chaves and Jarett Andretti for Sebring, the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen and Motul Petit Le Mans in the No. 36 Ligier JS P320 Nissan.

Van Berlo made his WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut in January’s Rolex 24 at Daytona at the wheel of Riley’s Ligier.

“I’m very happy and excited to be given the opportunity by Andretti Autosport,” said Van Berlo.

“To drive for such a big name in motorsport for the IMSA Endurance championship in 2023 alongside Jarett, himself and Gabby Chaves is a great opportunity.

“[I’m] absolutely pumped to get started in the United States, kicking off with the 12 Hours of Sebring.”

Jarett Andretti added: “Glenn recently tested for us and we were impressed with his speed and professionalism. I’m excited to have him join the lineup for Sebring and the remainder of the endurance races.”

Dickerson, who was part of Andretti’s lineup at Daytona, was recently announced for Sebring in Jr III’s LMP3 entry.

In addition to the team’s confirmed Endurance Cup effort, Jarett and Chaves are due to take part in selected WeatherTech Championship Sprint Cup rounds at the wheel of an Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
