IMSA has made further tweaks to the Balance of Performance in the GTP class ahead of next weekend’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.

Issued on Wednesday, it sees minor changes to weight, power, energy usage for the majority of the four LMDh manufacturers for the third round of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup.

All four cars have received weight increases, with the Acura ARX-05 and Porsche 963 getting 4 kg and 5 kg of additional weight, respectively, with the BMW M Hybrid V8 and Cadillac V-Series.R at an 7 kg weight increase.

While the Acura stays the same in power output, the BMW and Porsche both get 1 kW (1.34 hp) of additional power, compared to the Cadillac at 2 kw/2.6 hp.

Additionally, both the BMW and Cadillac will have 3 MJ of additional energy to use, while the Porsche gets 2 MJ.

The BoP changes come in addition to the previously announced adjustments for the GTD Pro and GTD classes for next weekend’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.
