Robert Noaker remained on top of the Mustang Challenge time charts at Circuit of The Americas, improving on his benchmark time from the morning.

Noaker drove his No. 13 Robert Noaker Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R to a best time of 2:22.721 in the afternoon session, bettering his 2:23.341 lap that was set in Practice 1.

It was another 1-2 run for the team, with points leader Tyler Maxson slotting in second in the No. 74 entry.

Trenton Estep, in his debut weekend in the IMSA-sanctioned single-make series, was third quickest in his No. 16 MDK Motorsports Mustng.

Brandon Gdovic and Max Opalski completed the top-five for Precision Performance Motorsports and McCumbee McAleer Racing, respectively.

Zachry Lee returned to the top in the Dark Horse Legends class, setting a 2:26.042 lap time in his No. 48 MMR entry.

The No. 19 Skip Barber Racing Mustang of Mike Stillwagon, who was quickest in class in the morning, was second quickest.

Qualifying is set to get underway Saturday at 9 a.m. CDT, with Race 1 later that day at 4:40 p.m., which will be streamed live on Peacock, IMSA.tv and the Ford Performance YouTube channel.
