The new Toyota GR Supra GT4 will be rolled out gradually for its first year of global competition in 2020, the Japanese manufacturer confirmed on Tuesday.

European customer teams will be able to take delivery of the car in March, before North American teams in August and Asian teams in October.

Each region will be supported by a separate sales arm, with the GT Supra GT4’s lead developer TMG covering Europe, TRD covering North America and Toyota Customizing & Development (TCD) covering Asia and Japan.

Toyota has also announced the car’s sale price of €175,000 ($194,000 USD).

TMG vice president Rob Leupen told Sportscar365 earlier this month that GR Supra GT4 distribution would start in Europe next year, before moving to other regions.

He added that Toyota expects the GR Supra GT4 to make its race debut in early 2020, likely in a GT4-only race, as part of its “limited” initial offering.

The car is currently undergoing a test and development schedule, from which Toyota today released the first images of the car on-track at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

Once fully rolled out, it will be eligible to compete in several championships including the GT4 European Series, Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia, British GT Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and Pirelli GT4 America.
