The provisional calendar for the 2014 European Le Mans Series was announced Friday at Paul Ricard, site of this weekend’s season finale.

While again featuring a five-round calendar, a new event in Estoril has replaced the Hungaroring.

The season will again kick off at Silverstone, part of a Super Endurance Weekend with the FIA WEC, before traveling to Imola, Red Bull Ring and Paul Ricard before ending in Portugal.

After sharing three weekends with the World Series by Renault this year, all five races next year in 2014 will be standalone.

Another change comes in the race lengths, which will expand from 3 to 4 hours. There will also be an additional 60 minutes of practice time during each weekend.

“First of all we would like to thank Renault for their support this season and we have enjoyed being part of the World Series by Renault events in Austria, Hungary and here in France,” said Gerard Neveu, CEO of the Le Mans Endurance Management.

“However there is a desire on the part of the teams and drivers to have longer races and more track time. This, along with larger grids expected in 2014, means we are unable to continue with our partnership with Renault.”

The ELMS will again hold a pre-season official test at Paul Ricard on April 1-2.

2014 European Le Mans Series Schedule:

April 19-20 – Silverstone
May 10-11 – Imola **
July 19-20 – Red Bull Ring
September 13-14 – Paul Ricard
October 11-12 – Estoril

**Date to be confirmed
