United Autosports has announced that Filipe Albuquerque will replace Oliver Jarvis at the upcoming European Le Mans Series round at Spa-Francorchamps.

The Portuguese driver will step into the lineup for the No. 21 Oreca 07 Gibson, which competes in the LMP2 Pro-Am category.

Albuquerque will race alongside Daniel Schneider and Andy Meyrick, reuniting a lineup that took a class podium at the 4 Hours of Aragon last year.

Jarvis, meanwhile, is unable to compete in Belgium as a result of clashing commitments with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, where he will race with Pfaff Motorsports in the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR.

“I am very happy to be back with United Autosports,” said Albuquerque,

“I just came from Mosport with them, which was great and now to have another race with the team at Spa, one of my favourite tracks. I have great memories with United there.

“I think we won five in a row, that’s a hell of a record, hard to beat!”

Jarvis, Meyrick and Schneider previous secured a class podium at the 4 Hours of Le Castellet earlier this year.
