48 Losch Motorsport by Black Falcon secured a second consecutive victory in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport, defeating the Red Camel-Jordans.nl squad.
The No. 48 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, piloted by Gabriele Piana, Dylan Pereira, Tobias Muller and Carlos Rivas finished a minute and 50.788 seconds clear of its nearest rival after 12 hours of racing.
The German squad first moved into the lead of the contest when Pereira, who also won last weekend’s 24 Hours of Zolder in Porsche Cup machinery, fought his way past the No. 9 Red Camel Porsche at Bruxelles on lap 65.
Although the Dutch squad, with its car piloted by Rik Breukers, Luc Breukers, Ivo Breukers and Fabian Danz would later regain first place, Black Falcon’s No. 48 gradually gained the upper hand despite having a lead of more than a minute wiped out by a safety car in the fifth hour.
Despite the best efforts of Harry King to bring the No. 666 Team Parker Racing Porsche into contention for the win, the race gradually evolved into a two-car battle between the Black Falcon and Red Camel teams.
Although another safety car later in the race caused Black Falcon to again lose a lead of more than a minute, it managed to remain in command of the race to capture a second straight victory in the race exclusively for Porsche Cup machinery.
The overall podium was completed by the No. 25 Van Berlo Motorsport by Bas Koeten Racing entry of Glenn van Berlo, Marcel van Berlo and Bart van Helden, which took the Pro-Am victory in the process.
Sebastian Freymuth, Hugo Ellis, Steven Gambrell and Pedro Juan Moreno finished fourth in the No. 30 HRT Performance machine, while the Am-S victory went to the No. 888 SebLajoux Racing Porsche in fifth overall.
Victory in the Am-B category went to the No. 121 Black Falcon Porsche piloted by Joao Goncalves, William Freire and Joao Barbosa.
Notably, the crew had to fight their way up from the back of the grid after a practice crash required significant repairs and forced them to miss qualifying.
