Century Motorsport has added reigning Intelligent Money British GT champion Darren Leung and 2023 podium finisher Sean Gelael to its lineup for the upcoming Hankook 24H Dubai.

Leung and Gelael will join Michael Johnston and Christopher Salkeld at the wheel of one of the British squad’s two BMW M4 GT3s at the Middle Eastern enduro, which takes place on Jan. 26-28.

Samantha Tan, who was originally set to share the car with Johnston and Salkeld, has been ruled out due to clashing commitments as a result of the event’s date change.

The second car is set to be piloted by Jake Rattenbury, Carl Cavers, Lewis Plato and Jack Barlow as Century remains the sole representation for BMW on the Dubai grid after defending winners Team WRT pulled its entry last week.

Gelael formed part of WRT’s stable when the Belgian squad scored a double podium at Dubai last year in its first race start with BMW, finishing third alongside Tim Whale, Maxime Martin, Max Hesse and Valentino Rossi.

Leung, meanwhile, will return to the Hankook 24H Series’ flagship event after a year’s absence. The Bronze-rated driver made his series debut with CWS Engineering in 2022, driving a Ginetta G55.

Gelael and Leung are currently stablemates in the Asian Le Mans Series with Team Project 1, although they drive separate cars.
