Fach Auto Tech was fastest again in the second and final practice session for the tenth anniversary edition of the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai.
Martin Ragginger in the No. 12 Porsche 997 GT3 R led they way, setting his fastest time of 1:59.229 just over 30 minutes into the session.
The No. 33 SPS automotive-performance Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 finished the session in second place, with Lance-David Arnold only 0.030 seconds slower than his Austrian rival.
KPM Racing’s Aston Martin Vantage GT3 had been second for most of the session, but Arnold’s fast lap with just six minutes remaining meant it dropped to third place.
The session was red flagged once, a result of an accident for the No. 53 Dinamic Motorsport
Porsche 991 Cup.
Qualifying for all classes gets underway at 3 p.m. local time. The A6, SP2-GT3A and 997 classes will have their own qualifying session at 5 p.m.
