PTT by Schnitzelalm Racing secured pole position upon its Hankook 24H Series debut by beating Herberth Motorsport to the top spot in qualifying for the Hankook 12H Misano.

The No. 74 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, piloted by Martin Kaczmarski, Mateusz Lisowski and Jay Mo Haertling, set a combined average time of 1:35.041 across the three segments of qualifying.

In the process, they beat the No. 91 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Scott Noble, Ralf Bohn and Jason Hart by 0.278 seconds, with the No. 11 HOFOR Racing Mercedes-AMG driven by Michael Kroll, Chantal Prinz , Alexander Prinz, Maximilian Partl and Kenneth Heyer just 0.017 seconds further back in third.

Sainteloc Racing’s No. 17 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, which took pole for the previous round at Portimao, qualified fourth in the hands of Michael Doppelmayr, Pierre Kaffer, Elia Erhart and Swen Herberger.

BOEM by Kessel Racing completed the top five, despite the No. 8 Ferrari 296 GT3 posting the fastest outright time in qualifying when David Fumanelli reeled off a 1:34.269 in the third and final session.

The No. 71 JUTA Racing Audi captured sixth, outpacing series newcomers Prime Speed Sport and their No. 42 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo headlined by Earl Bamber.

The overall top ten was completed by E2P Racing, RD Signs – Siauliai Racing Team and HAAS RT.

In GT4, StreetArt Racing overcame suspension issues in the second session to claim class pole with the No. 407 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 driven by Jahid Fazal-Karim, Pascal Bachmann and Julien Darras.

The Belgian crew’s combined time of 1:44.756 was sufficient to beat the No. 419 Hamofa Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 by just 0.017 seconds.

Championship leaders Buggyra ZM Racing qualified third, with the No. 424 Lionspeed GP Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS completing the class.

The Hankook 12H Misano kicks off Saturday at 10 a.m. CEST (4 a.m. EDT)), running uninterrupted and finishing under the cover of darkness at 10 p.m. local time. Live coverage is available on the 24H Series Youtube channel.
