Pure Rxcing took pole position for the Hankook 6H Abu Dhabi, securing a maiden pole for the Lithuanian-flagged squad.

The No. 911 Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by Alex Malykhin, Joel Sturm and Harry King reeled off a combined lap of 1:55.224 to take the top spot.

It remained nearly a full second clear of the No. 21 HAAS RT Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II piloted by Stephane Perrin, Mathieu Detry and Maxime Soulet.

Ted van Vliet and Max Weering rounded out the top three aboard the No.12 JR Motorsport BMW M6 GT3, just ahead of the No. 1 Phoenix Audi of Michael Doppelmayr, Pierre Kaffer, Elia Erhart and Swen Herberger.

Out of the six-car GT3 field at Yas Marina Circuit, two cars failed to set a representative time. Herberth Motorsport’s No. 91 Porsche was classified 21st overall after it missed the first session.

It was placed one position ahead of the No. 44 ARC Bratislava Lamborghini Huracan GT3 of Miro Konopka and Andrzej Lewandowski, which sat out the third and last session.

Pole position in the GT4 category was captured by the No. 405 Ram Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4 piloted by James Thorpe, Phil Quaife and Phil Keen.

It cleared the No. 438 Simpson Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 of David Holloway, Vasily Vladykin and Carl Cavers by nearly two seconds. Buggyra ZM Racing’s No. 416 Mercedes completed the top three.
