Sainteloc Audi Paces Night Practice

The No. 26 Sainteloc Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo of Simon Gachet led the way in night practice for the Hankook 24H Dubai.

Gachet topped the time charts in the 90-minute session thanks to a 1:59.157 in his GT3 Am class entry, edging out the No. 4 Abu Dhabi Racing by HRT Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo by a considerable 1.064 seconds.

The No. 93 DUWO Racing by Herberth Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R was third overall on the time sheets, with the Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo and Racetivity Mercedes completing the top-five overall.

Other pace-setters included the No. 710 Leipert Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo (GTX), No. 478 CWS Engineering Ginetta G56 GT4 (GT4) and No. 116 Autorama Motorsport by Wolf-Power Racing Audi RS 3 LMS TCR (TCR).

While there were no red flags in the session, two Code 60s were deployed, the first for the No. 222 Lamara GT entry that stopped on track. 

A second Code 60 was called with 30 minutes remaining to retrieve the No. 54 Dinamic Motorsport Porsche, which stopped on track.

A 30-minute warmup session is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. local time ahead of the 3 p.m. race start.
