Sainteloc Junior Team took victory in the Hankook 12H Misano in a race that was headlined by attrition and saw a 992-class runner finish on the overall podium.

The No. 18 Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II of Michael Doppelmayr, Pierre Kaffer, Elia Erhart and Swen Herberger won by a margin of six laps over the No. 71 JUTA Racing Audi, having led 297 of the 401 laps completed during the race.

Arunas Geciauskas, Leonardas Dirzys, Justas Jonusis and Simas Juodvirsis were the only other GT3 crew to finish the race on the overall podium as the majority of the 11-car GT3 field struggled with issues in a race of attrition and high temperatures.

The No. 11 HOFOR Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Michael Kroll, Chantal Prinz, Alexander Prinz, Maximilian Partl and Kenneth Heyer was a notable late casualty, running second in the final hour only to be struck by a pedal box issue.

A gearbox oil leak then curtailed the team’s race, leading to retirement with 45 minutes to go.

As a result, the No. 922 Fulgenzi Racing Porsche 992 GT3 Cup finished third overall, also taking the 992-class victory with Andrea Buratti, Corrado Costa, Eric Wagner and Enrico Fernando Fulgenzi at the wheel.

Other notable cars to suffer issues during the race were the Earl Bamber-driven No. 42 Prime Speed Sport Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo (damper failure), the pole-sitting No. 74 PTT by Schnitzelalm Racing Mercedes-AMG (fuel pump failure) and the No. 1 HAAS RT Audi (engine issues).

Buggyra ZM Racing took a fourth consecutive GT4 class win with the No. 416 Mercedes-AMG GT4 driven by Aliyyah Koloc, David Vrsecky and Adam Lacko finishing 72 laps clear of its nearest rival.

The No. 424 Lionspeed GP Porsche Caymam GT4 RS CS finished second with Jose Garcia, Patrick Kolb and Dennis Bohn at the wheel, overcoming punctures and handling issues to become the final car in the class to reach the checkered flag.
