Both Dinamic Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 Rs have crashed out of the Hankook 24H Dubai, with the race-contending No. 67 entry of Matteo Cairoli the latest casualty following a collision with a GTX class car in the eighth hour.

Cairoli and the No. 714 Razoon Racing KTM X-Bow GTX of Robert Schiftner made contact in Turn 9, resulting in a Code 60 neutralization to bring both cars back to the pit lane on flat-beds.

The Porsche-affiliated driver and Schiftner both climbed from their cars and appeared to escape serious injury.

Cairoli, who led the opening hour of the race, had been running sixth overall at the time.

The accident for the No. 67 Porsche came after a crash from the Italian squad’s No. 54 Porsche of Murad Sultanov in the fifth hour.

Up front, Team WRT continues to run 1-2, but with the MS7-backed No. 7 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo of Axcil Jefferies now leading ahead of the No. 31 car of Benji Goethe in second.

The No. 4 Abu Dhabi Racing by HRT Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Manuel Metzger runs in third as the race nears the one-third distance mark.
