WRT Audis in Control After Six Hours in Dubai

The pair of Team WRT-run Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evos are out front in the Hankook 24H Dubai with six hours completed in the around-the-clock enduro.

Frederic Vervisch in the No. 31 Audi leads the way over the MS7 by WRT entry of Dries Vanthoor following the latest Code 60, which saw both cars make pit stops.

The No. 4 Abu Dhabi Racing by HRT Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Hubert Haupt runs third, followed by the No. 77 Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo of Rolf Rolf Ineichen in fourth.

The British-run Lamborghini has enjoyed time out front, earlier in the hands of Mirko Bortolotti.

An accident in the fifth hour for the No. 30 Schubert Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 of Marcel Lenerz sent the debuting car to the garage for suspension repairs.

Trouble also hit the No. 54 Dinamic Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R of Murad Sultanov, who ended up in the wall late in the fifth hour to bring out a Code 60.

GT3-Am is being paced by the No. 85 CP Racing Mercedes of Phil Quaife, who runs fifth overall.

The No. 1 ST Racing BMW of Anthony Lazzaro is out front in GT3 Pro-Am, although faces a post-race penalty of two laps for running the red light after taking a pit lane start while in the hands of Harry Gottsacker.

992-Pro is currently being led by the No. 933 Team GP-Elite Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, while the PK Carsport Audi R8 LMS GT2 has taken over point in GTX.

The No. 408 Dragon Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4 of Stuart Hall is out front in GT4 with a quarter of the distance in the books.
