Creventic has partnered with event agency BLS to host the inaugural Michelin 24H Kyalami in January.
The South African company, otherwise known as Brand Launch Solution, has a background in event organization and promotion, including in motorsport.
Based just a short drive from the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, BLS is no stranger to holding events at the famed venue. It hosted the BMW M Fest a few years ago, bringing in tens of thousands of visitors (pictured above).
The 24H Kyalami marks the first time an international 24-hour race will be held on South African soil, and it will be the first international sports car race of any kind to be held at the famed circuit since 2023.
“We’re really excited to bring the Michelin 24H Kyalami to life, and it’s encouraging to see how much interest the event has already attracted,” said Creventic event manager David Vink.
“Together with BLS, we want to turn that enthusiasm into a fantastic weekend for our teams and the local fans. Their experience at Kyalami and understanding of the South African audience will be a real help as we work together to create an event we can all be proud of.”
BLS director Morne Labuschagne added: “Kyalami is a circuit we know well, and South African fans have shown time and again how big they turn out for world-class motorsport.
“We’re proud to partner with Creventic to bring the Michelin 24H Kyalami to life, and to give fans a weekend that’s about far more than the racing, from the moment they come through the gates until the checkered flag falls 24 hours later.
“Our aim is simple: to make this an event South Africans will want to come back to every year.”
The Michelin 24H Kyalami is scheduled for Jan. 8-10.
