Porsche has confirmed an all-factory driver lineup for December’s Sepang 12 Hours, which will close out the inaugural season of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
The German manufacturer will bring two Manthey Racing-run Porsche 911 GT3 Rs for the Malaysian enduro, with 2015 Le Mans winners Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber being joined by Patrick Pilet in the No. 911 car and Fred Makowiecki, Richard Lietz and Michael Christensen in the No. 912 entry.
It will mark Porsche’s debut in the SRO’s new global championship, which expands to four rounds next year with the addition of an eight-hour race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in October.
Manthey will also enter the same cars three weeks earlier in the FIA GT World Cup in Macau for Bamber and Kevin Estre.
