A late flyer by Kay van Berlo put ACI Motorsports on top of the time sheets in the second Pirelli GT4 America practice session of the day at Sonoma Raceway.

Van Berlo drove his Pro-Am class No. 7 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport to a quick lap of 1:45.813 to bump the No. 68 Smooge Racing Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO of John Geesbreght from the quickest time in the 45-minute session.

Parker Thompson made it two Toyotas in the top three, placing his No. 999 Hanley Racing machine third quickest and best of the Silver class entries.

Top Am class honors in final practice went to the No. 20 Carrus Callas Raceteam Toyota pairing of Nicholas Shanny and Terry Borcheller, which set the fourth quickest time overall.

The No. 50 Chouest Poveledo Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT4 completed the top-five, meanwhile.

The session saw an early red flag for an incident involving the No. 18 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, which went off-course and needed to be extracted from the mud.

It was the only notable incident for GT4 America competitors all day.

Qualifying is set to get underway Saturday at 10:40 a.m. PT (1:40 p.m. ET), ahead of Race 1 at 4:50 p.m. PT (7:50 p.m. ET).
