Westin Workman was crowned the 2025 Toyota GR Cup North America champion on Sunday after winning Race 2, surviving strong pressure from Jeremy Fletcher to complete a perfect weekend at Barber Motorsports Park, which saw him lead every lap and on-track session for BSI Racing.

Workman led the field to green from pole position in the No. 13 Toyota GR86 Cup Car and swiftly began opening a gap, leaving Ethan Goulart and Fletcher to battle over the rest of the podium positions behind.

However, Fletcher began to reel in the race leader in the middle stages, cutting the overall lead to within a second and applying firm pressure to Workman after breaking away from the battle for third, taking place more than ten seconds further down the road.

The pair were locked nose-to-tail for nearly the entire second half of the race, with Fletcher never more than half a second off of Workman’s rear bumper.

The Copeland driver attempted multiple passes for the lead, with the pair even making contact in the final corner on the final lap.

Workman hung on, however, taking his fifth win of the season to mathematically wrap up his title fight with two races of the season remaining.

Will Robusto, who started the race in seventh, brought his No. 2 RVA Graphics Motorsports by Speed Syndicate machine up to third position by the middle of the race.

After running in clear air with gaps on either side of him for much of the race, Robusto secured a podium finish.

Spike Kohlbecker appeared set for a fourth-place finish after a lengthy battle in the top five before suddenly losing pace on the final lap and pulling off track in the first sector.

Behind, Goulart inherited fourth in his TechSport Toyota, just ahead of Lucas Weisenberg, rounding out the top five.

A mid-race battle between Copeland’s Jaxson Bell and RVA’s Isabella Robusto came under the eyes of the stewards in the final 20 minutes of the race while the pair were fighting over tenth place, resulting in the Bell having to hand a position back to the ARCA Menards Series driver before resuming their battle.

Jackson Tovo survived an off-track excursion in the opening stages after a slight nudge from Jenson Sofronas behind, only losing three positions once rejoining. Sofronas was handed a drive-through penalty for incident responsibility.

Later in the race, Tovo brought his No. 31 Nitro Motorsports Toyota into pit lane with a puncture.

Ethan Tovo made a few unscheduled trips down pit lane, with Patrick Brunson also coming into the pits early in the race and losing a pair of laps. Liam Harrison and Paityn Feyen also came into the pits during the 45-minute sprint race, which ran entirely green.
