The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo has been given a Balance of Performance break ahead of qualifying and the pair of 90-minute GT World Challenge America powered by AWS races at Virginia International Raceway.

Confirmed by SRO Motorsports Group on Saturday morning, both the latest 2025-spec version of the GT3 car has been given a 20 kg reduction in minimum weight, while the previous-gen, non Evo model, has been handed a 15 kg weight break and slightly increased boost pressures at the low RPM end.

The only Aston competing in GTWC America this weekend is the No. 24 Heart of Racing Team entry of Darren Turner and Gray Newell, with Jason Bell having moved to GT America powered by AWS competition with Racers Edge Motorsports.

Bell’s GTA Aston Evo, meanwhile, gets a 15 kg reduction in weight and a slight increase in turbo boost pressures, again at the low-end.
