The Reiter Engineering Chevrolet Camaro posted the fastest time on the second morning of Blancpain GT testing at Paul Ricard.
The Camaro’s time of 1:57.173 wasn’t enough to improve the 1:56.584 lap put down by the Bentley Continental GT3 yesterday, the M-Sport run car managed the 14th time (+1.804s) in the third test session and was also driven by Jean-Marc Gounon for BoP purposes.
Ferrari was well represented at the top of the timetables, with four cars of four different teams in the top six. The Kessel Racing 458 Italia GT3 came closest to the Camaro (+0.736s), narrowly edging out the Insight Racing with Flex-Box car by only 0.034s.
TDS Racing was again on the pace with the fourth fastest time (+0.883s), this time with the BMW Z4 GT3 No. 10 instead of No. 12. The Phoenix Racing Audi No. 6 was the first of the Audis on P7 (+1.423s), preceding the CRS GT by ART Grand Prix McLaren in eighth (+1.434s) and the Autorlando Sport Porsche 911 GT3-R in ninth (+1.470s).
45 cars posted a time in the penultimate session, which was briefly interrupted by a crash of the BMW Team Brasil Z4 GT3 of Caca Bueno.
