Blancpain GT Series testing continued at Paul Ricard this afternoon with another three hours of track time available for all the teams.

The fastest lap time of the Bentley Continental GT3 in the morning session was good enough for the car to remain top of the timing screens until the end of the day.

Behind the Bentley there were no changes in the rest of the top six either, resulting in Belgian Audi Club Team WRT remaining in second position ahead of the two Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra.

TDS Racing’s Nick Catsburg and Henry Hassid were the first non-Volkswagen Group drivers, finishing the day in fifth place with the BMW, ahead of the Team Parker Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra.

The Sport Garage Ferrari 458 Italia of Vannelet/Lémeret/Lorgere-Roux/Santamato improved its fastest lap time and finished the session in seventh position, ahead of the Kessel Racing Ferrari of Bonacini/Petrobelli/Broniszewski.

Blancpain Racing was ninth fastest with the Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 GT3 and the GT Corse by Rinaldi Ferrari completed the top ten this afternoon.

42 cars took to the track today and more teams and drivers will join in tomorrow during the second and final day of the official test days.
