Steller Motorsport has revealed that former British GT champion Dennis Lind will test for the team as part of a multi-day outing at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as it seeks to evaluate its driver lineup for its second season in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS.
Lind, 32, has built up extensive GT3 experience since stepping up from a championship-winning stint in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, but has been on the sidelines ever since he contested last year’s Endurance Cup finale with Imperiale Racing.
“Obviously I’m very excited to do the test with the Steller team and with a new car for me,” Lind said.
“It’s been a while since I’ve sat in a racecar, but I hope I can provide the team with some valuable data and feedback, and I am sure I’ll have a lot of fun as well.”
Steller will be running both of its Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs during a three-day test in Barcelona next week, with Lorcan Hanafin sharing the second car with multiple unnamed drivers as the team will “evaluate potential driver combinations and continue development work.”
Hanafin was part of Steller’s debut Endurance Cup season alongside a rotating cast of co-drivers, most notably taking a Silver Cup podium in the team’s series debut at Paul Ricard.
“These three days mark the start of our 2026 campaign,” said Steller team manager Max Daymond.
“Having Dennis with us is an exciting and important step; his experience in GT3 racing is obviously extensive, and his speed is without question.
“His input will be incredibly valuable for us as we continue to develop the car and prepare for next year.
“We’re also pleased to continue our collaboration with Lorcan, who did a great job for us this year, and to assess a number of drivers as we shape our plans for next season.”
