Scuderia Praha will debut its brand-new Ferrari 488 GT3 at the opening round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup at Monza later this month.
The Czech 24H Series stalwart had originally planned to race the car for the first time at the Hankook 12H Italy-Mugello three weeks ago.
However, the team was suspended back in January following several incidents, culminating with an avoidable collision by Matteo Cressoni during the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai.
For its first foray in the Blancpain GT Series, the team has entered the Ferrari 488 GT3 in the Pro-Am Cup, with Matteo Malucelli and Jiri Pisarik listed as the drivers so far.
Team regular Peter Kox, who wrote an open letter against Creventic’s decision to suspend, won’t be part of the lineup as he’ll race one of the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi R8 LMS in the Pro Cup.
The addition of Scuderia Praha to the entry list brings the total number of Ferrari 488 GT3s taking part in the Monza three-hour race up to seven.
