ZF Friedrichshafen AF has launched its new Race Reporter series featuring race, event, and technical-related video content from the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona. The video series also includes the popular Fan Reporter video.
In the second video from the Rolex 24, host Tony Rizzuti interviews ZF Motorsports Manager Mehmet Ozerman about the performance of ZF clutches and how the demanding the 3.56-mile, 12-turn Daytona International Speedway will be on that component of the race car.
Drivers will shift more than 50 times per lap. Over 700 laps, that adds up to more 36,000 hits on the clutch to win this 24 hour marathon.
