A total of 56 cars are set to compete in next weekend’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and second leg of the Michelin Endurance Cup season.

Released by IMSA on Thursday, the field is divided between 13 GTP entries, 12 LMP2s, 11 GTD Pro cars and 20 GTDs.

The GTP class will see the highly anticipated WeatherTech Championship debut of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, with Ross Gunn and Roman De Angelis joined by Alex Riberas in the Heart of Racing-run LMH-based car, which will compete against a dozen LMDh prototypes in the top class.

It includes Rolex 24 at Daytona winners Porsche Penske Motorsport, which has unchanged driver lineups for its two factory Porsche 963s.

Tristan Vautier, meanwhile, has stayed on with Proton Competition’s privateer Porsche, alongside Neel Jani and Nico Pino in the No. 5 entry.

Lamborghini’s factory-run SC63, meanwhile, will feature Mirko Bortolotti, Romain Grosjean and Daniil Kvyat, while the third driver joining full-season pilots Gianmaria Bruni and Tijmen van der Helm at JDC-Miller Motorsports has yet to be announced.

As previously revealed by Sportscar365, Brendon Hartley will replace Alex Lynn as the third driver in the No. 40 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac V-Series.R.

LMP2 sees Jeremy Clarke replace Jon Field as Inter Europol Competition’s Bronze-rated driver, in addition to the previously announced Juan Manuel Correa joining United Autosports’ No. 2 Oreca 07 Gibson.

Other notable changes since the Rolex 24 at Daytona include Honda Racing Corporation-contracted driver Kaku Ohta in Era Motorsport’s entry, as part of a two-race LMP2 program for the Japanese star.

The GTD Pro class has confirmation of Giacomo Altoe’s new season-long ride in DragonSpeed’s Ferrari 296 GT3, while Ben Barker is set for his Sebring debut as the third driver in the No. 64 Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang GT3.

There are no significant changes in the GTD class since Daytona, other than the class featuring two fewer entries than the season-opener, with Magnus Racing pausing operations and AF Corse fielding only a single Ferrari.

Track action at Sebring for the WeatherTech Championship kicks off next Thursday.
