Ryan Dalziel will team up with Parker Chase in TruSpeed Autosport’s new Audi GT3 effort in Pirelli World Challenge, the team confirmed on Friday.

Chase will pilot an Audi R8 LMS in the entire 11-round championship and will be joined by Dalziel for the five SprintX rounds.

“I am really happy to finally announce a pair of very talented drivers for our program,” said team owner Tyler Tadevic. “Ryan is one of the best sports car drivers in North America and has the experience and speed to help take our team to the top right away.

“He has actually raced for me on five different occasions, in five series with five manufacturers over the past fifteen years. Parker is a young talent that has quickly found his way to the podium in PWC competition and this duo could be one of the best on the grid. To say I am excited to get started is an understatement.”

Dalziel returns to the California-based team following a one-year stint with CRP Racing.

“I have a history with the team and I’ve been really impressed watching Parker in GTS last year so I can’t wait to get their Audi R8 GT3 on track,” Dalziel said.

“I really look forward to helping Parker continue his growth in sports car racing and to help put the TruSpeed AutoSport brand back on the top level where they belong”

Rising sports car star Chase, who has contested several seasons of GTS competition in Ginetta machinery, will compete in the GTA class in the Sprint rounds.

The car is expected to compete for Pro-Am class honors in the SprintX races.

“I have never really experienced the full impact of the silly season but now can officially say that I have,” Chase said. “The program was on the radar for quite some time but so were several others.

“I am happy that it is finally solidified, and I cannot wait to get started. To be able to share a car with Ryan Dalziel is a huge opportunity and I am confident that we can make TruSpeed AutoSport and all of our marketing partners proud.”

Drivers for the team’s second full-season Audi GT3 entry have yet to be announced.
