Scuderia Corsa announced Monday that it will field a second Ferrari 458 Italia in this weekend’s Rolex Sports Car Series finale at Lime Rock Park, with Johannes van Overbeek and Jeff Westphal set to drive the No. 64 Prancing Horse.

With the GT championship on the line, the Beverly Hills, Calif.-based squad will be out in full force in the final GRAND-AM event.

Alessandro Balzan, full-season pilot of the No. 63 entry, currently trails GT points leaders Andy Lally and John Potter by 4 points, the same margin separating Magnus Racing from Scuderia Corsa. Ferrari, meanwhile, continues to lead the manufacturers’ championship.

Both drivers are no stranger to Giacomo Mattioli’s squad, as van Overbeek teamed with Balzan for a podium finish at Lime Rock in 2012, while Westphal was the Italian driver’s teammate for five races this season before being replaced by Leh Keen.

“Seeing Scuderia Corsa grow and mature into a championship caliber team brings lots of satisfaction,” van Overbeek said. “Last year at Lime Rock Alessandro and I had a good race that contributed to Ferrari winning the constructors championship. This year I’m pleased to be driving with Jeff in the No. 64 sponsored by Ultratech.  I can’t wait for Lime Rock!”

Westphal added: “I am excited for the finale at Lime Rock. It’s an honor to be racing the No. 64 and representing two important Northern California companies such as Ultratech and Ferrari Silicon Valley in the Rolex series for Scuderia Corsa. The Ferrari should be good package around the small bullring that is Lime Rock Park.”
