Mantella Autosport will make the switch from Aston Martin to Camaro, having announced an expanded two-car full-season effort for the 2015 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season.

The Canadian-based squad has purchased the pair of Camaro Z28.Rs previously run by CKS Autosport, with the team’s 2014 pairing of team owner Anthony Mantella and Mark Wilkins being joined by Martin Barkey.

Its fourth driver for the GS class effort has yet to be announced.

Mantella has already completed an initial test at Canada’s Shannonville Motorsports Park, with an additional pre-season test scheduled for Nov. 19-20 at Sebring.

“Sebring is a very demanding circuit, both on equipment and driver ability. Consequently it is the perfect place to evaluate the cars and continue our programs development,” said team manager/engineer Andrew Wojteczko.

“With Sebring as the second stop on the CTSC schedule, it will be an asset to have some additional testing time at this circuit.”

The pair of Mantella entries are expected to be joined by the returning factory-backed Stevenson Motorsport Camaros next year.
