Graff Racing has revealed five of the six drivers who will drive its pair of Oreca 07 Gibsons in the European Le Mans Series, as the French team makes the step up from LMP3. (En Français)

The first lineup features Eric Trouillet, Paul Petit and Enzo Guibbert, who stay together having raced one of the team’s Ligier JS P3 Nissans together in 2016, finishing second in the championship.

Meanwhile, the second car will be driven by Franck Matelli and James Allen, along with a third driver who will be announced in due course.

Matelli competed in the VdeV series at Magny-Cours last year with Panis-Barthez Competition in a Ligier JS P3 Nissan, while young Australian driver Allen comes to the ELMS from Formula Renault 2.0.

“We are delighted to be able to announce our drivers as early as possible,” said team boss Pascal Rauturier. “All three [Trouillet, Petit and Guibbert] are ready to move to the next level, [while] youth will be the focus of the second crew.

“We will now be able to begin our tests in order to be as sharp as possible for this exciting season.”

Graff has filed two entry requests for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and if approved, the team would return to the race for the first time in 24 years.

The team completed a shakedown of its first Oreca Gibson at Paul Ricard last week.
