Do you think that BoP calculations in GT racing have now become so sophisticated that the cars are too evenly matched to the point where overtaking without contact is now virtually impossible on many circuits? Is this contributing to the number if serious accidents we have seen in series such as the Blancpain this season? If you agree with that BoP has gine too far to what extent should it be relaxed without triggering an exoensive technical development race?

Thanks for the outstanding coverage this year!

Is the Lamborghini GTE car still on track? Do you think there will there be dual WEC/IMSA programs?

What will happen to Risi’s brand new car? Is it now a backup car for IMSA?

How do you think Nissan feels now offering their engine for P1 privateers with a real possibility of a first overall finish next year? Do you think other manufacturers (maybe Mazda?) may consider non-hybrid customer offerings eliminating the need for the costly hybrid R&D, but with a chance of getting their name in the history books?

Apologies, we had to tape the show Sunday night Le Mans time in order to accommodate everyone’s travel plans, so we recorded before your question came in. I’ll make sure we get to it on next week’s show.

      Thanks for listening!

With Penske set to run the new HPD prototypes and the NSX set to go to customer sales, what happens next with Michael Shank’s team?

Do you have any idea when we could be hearing any details on the new-for-2018 Aston Martin GTE/GT3 cars?
