There has been little talk from ADESS AG for the past few months, but that’s not to say Stephane Choose and his team haven’t moved forward with its new LMP2 project, codenamed ADESS 02. (en Français)

Endurance Info followed up with the constructor of the Lotus T128 LMP2 chassis for further details on the development of its new car.

“The project is still ongoing,” Choose said. “The design of the car is now complete and discussions are in the advanced stages with a professional team.

“There have been several contacts with various teams this fall. The final decision will be taken in the coming weeks. At the moment, the team is interested in one car.

“ADESS AG must now find another team. It takes 16 weeks to deliver a car.”

It was originally planned that the car would be made available from the start of the season but Choose said he doesn’t want to rush things.

“We don’t want to fall into the same trap from 2013,” he said. “We want to do things well. The team that’s interested is very professional and that level of trust is required.

“The idea is to begin on track testing in May, for development over the summer.

“The goal is to take part in some European Le Mans Series races at the end of the season, or even the World Endurance Championship, before a full program in 2015.”
